Georgia DOAS Receives Top Honors for a Modernized Customer Experience

The Department of Administrative Services (DOAS) was recognized today with the 2018 Georgia’s Technology Innovation Showcase Award for implementation of a new Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system and deployment of an integrated policy automation tool. The project, which received top honors at the Georgia Digital Government Summit, included a working team of DOAS staff from multiple business units. It also involved collaborating with the State Accounting Office to transition the platform behind shared customer service center requests. The policy automation tool allows for transitioning paper-based activities and related approvals into electronic-based data processing and workflow.
