The Georgia Technology Authority (GTA) recently launched the Georgia Innovation Program to help Georgia agencies leverage technology to solve shared business problems in news ways.
The Georgia Agency Innovation Program’s design is evolving by seeking opportunities that will allow sustainable solutions. The primary objective remains the same; to help Georgia agencies work together to provide services in new and better ways using technology that is ready and available on the open market. The focus now, is to follow the lead of the Governor’s Office of Planning and Budgeting that will enable new approaches to problems crucial to running a responsible and efficient state government. The Innovation committee will continue to review promising innovation opportunities, and provide a cross-agency view for advising project teams on initiatives driven from the Governor’s office.
