The Georgia Building Authority will increase parking rates effective September 1, 2009

New monthly rates for state employees are:

  • $20 for non-reserved spaces
  • $30 for reserved spaces

New monthly rates for spaces managed by individual agencies are:

  • $30 for non-reserved
  • $40 for reserved

Employees with payroll deduction will see the increase in September. 

Contractors who work on Capitol Hill can park in select, non-reserved facilities for $40 per month.

The daily parking rate remains $5.

These are the first rate increases in over 30 years, according to GBA.
