Why do I have to login into certain sections of Team Georgia Connection?
In our continuing effort to offer new features that provide maximum benefit to state employees, it is important that access to certain sections of Team Georgia be limited only to employees and other appropriate staff.

How can I change my Team Georgia Connection password?
On the Discounts Program page as well as the Employee Directory page, there is a "My Account" link.  Complete the online form to set your new password.

What if I forget my Team Georgia Connection password?
There is a “Forgot your password?” link on the log in page. When clicked, it will prompt you for your email address.  A replacement password will be mailed to that email address if that email belongs to a valid user in the system.

Where can I find a list of the state holidays?

How can I update my information in the State Employee Directory?
Each agency and its employees are responsible for providing correct and updated contact information for the employee directory.  If you are aware of incorrect information, please contact your agency telecommunications coordinator or use the following form to submit your changes online: Update your information in the State Employee Directory.

How can I get an event published on the calendar?
Calendar events must come from your agency Public Information Officer sent via e-mail to support@team.georgia.gov. Submissions should be for events that will be of interest to state employees across all agencies.

Approval and budget considerations are handled by the individual agencies.  Please contact your supervisor.

How do I know if state offices are closed due to special circumstances?  Who makes that decision?
Office closures will be announced on the Team Georgia site and are broadcast on WSB TV in accordance with state policy approved by the Governor.

How can I report fraud, waste, or abuse in state government?

How can Capitol Police assist with medical emergencies?
The Department of Public Safety (DPS) and the Georgia Building Authority (GBA) Safety Enhancement Team request that Capitol Police be notified of all medical emergencies.  Emergencies may be reported directly to paramedics at 911 but should also be reported to the DPS Switchboard at 404-656-3281.  Capitol Police can provide assistance by guiding the ambulance and other response vehicles directly to the injured employee(s).

Which agency administers the Health Insurance Programs for state employees?
As of July 1, 1999, the Health Benefit Services Division of the Georgia Merit System was transferred to the Georgia Department of Community Health. That organization now has sole responsibility for administering the Public Employee Health Benefit Plan. Contact Community Health directly for questions or information about Employee Health Benefits.

How can I get guidance and information on ethics policy?
Locate the Governor’s Executive Order on ethics.  Each agency has an Ethics Officer.  Contact your HR Department to find out how to reach your agency Ethics Officer.
