SPA and OCS sponsor statewide employee survey

Do you have an opinion about working for state government?  You may be one of a group of randomly selected employees to receive an email link for feedback about the things you value in the workplace.

On June 1, the State Personnel Administration (SPA) and the Governor’s Office of Customer Service (OCS) will conduct an employee satisfaction survey designed to better understand the culture and the workplace experiences of employees; regardless of paygrade, agency, or geographical location. By gaining feedback directly from its workforce, Georgia can identify its strengths as well as determine areas for improvement to ensure Georgia is a great place to work for all employees.

An accurate assessment can only happen when employees feel comfortable in sharing their opinions.  To protect the confidentially of all participants, a third party survey administrator will receive the survey responses directly from the participants. Here the raw data will be summarized.  Individual responses cannot be tracked to employee names.

In addition to the employee survey, there will also be employee and leadership focus groups conducted this summer.  The purpose of these groups will be to further understand the survey results and identify opportunities for improvements.  Once we have the results of the survey and focus groups, the information will be shared with all employees in the Georgia Statement and on the Team Georgia Connection Intranet site.

If you are chosen to participate in the employee satisfaction survey, take advantage of the opportunity to voice your opinions in a confidential setting. And, don’t forget to look for the results in a future online issue of the Georgia Statement.
