Author and cancer survivor Greg Anderson said, “Only one thing has to change for us to know happiness in our lives: where we focus our attention.”
Think of focus as concentrated attention – the ability to zero in on a goal and see the task through to completion.
- It’s important to plan, execute and evaluate one step at a time. If at any time you feel overwhelmed, stop and find out what needs to be adjusted.
- The decisions you make during the day help or hinder the accomplishments of your larger goals. Keep this in mind when creating today’s schedule.
- Even if you have no external deadline for a project, give yourself an internal one. It will motivate you to get it done!
Remember: Planning is nothing more than choosing to manage your time instead of having your time manage you.
