Silent Signing Stroll
Wednesday, Feb 6, 2019 1 PM to 3 PM
Red Top Mountain State Park – Acworth, GA
Learn and practice American Sign Language with a Ranger! We will meet at the Iron Hill Trail for a leisurely walk as we use ASL signs for the things we discover. This is a leisurely 1.5 mile walk. Event is free. Parking pass is required for every vehicle. Program may be cancelled for inclement weather. $5 parking. 770-975-0055.

Amazing Mammals Discovery
Saturday, Feb 9, 2019 1 PM to 3 PM
F.D. Roosevelt State Park – Pine Mountain, GA
Drop by and chat with the Park Ranger inside the warm Trading Post. Investigate local mammal pelts, skulls, and tracks. Test your mammal IQ and see what you know about our furred neighbors. Meet at the Trading Post inside the Campground. $5 parking. 706-663-4858.

Super Museum Sunday – Free admission all day

Chief Vann House Historic Site – Chatsworth, GA

Holiday Cruise

Crooked River State Park – St. Marys, GA
Come celebrate Valentine’s Day with a relaxing sunset cruise along the Crooked River waterways. Binoculars provided. Space limited. Ages 6 and older. Preregistration required by 4:30 PM day prior cruise. $30 plus $5 parking. 912-882-5256.

Parents’ Night Out

Panola Mountain State Park – Stockbridge, GA
Want your kids out of the house on Valentine’s Day? Then bring them to our Parents Night Out. Children ages 6-12 will get explore the Nature Center after dark and learn about the basics of camping. $30 plus $5 parking. 770-389-7801.

Astronomy Night with your Love

Tallulah Gorge State Park – Tallulah Falls, GA

WinterFest: Arts & Coach Tour
10 AM – 4 PM from Feb 17, 2019 until Feb 18, 2019
Hardman Farm Historic Site – Sautee Nacoochee, GA
The Sautee Nacoochee Cultural Center partners with Unicoi State Park and Lodge and Helen Arts & Heritage Center to create WinterFest: Arts & Coach Tour. This festival will include 150 artists located at three locations (Including Hardman Farm State Historic Site) within 10 miles of one another, with optional coach service. 706-878-1077.

Looking for a morning activity for you and your toddler? Join us for our monthly Toddler Ranger Programs! We will meet at the visitors center and begin our program promptly at 10:30 am.
