Join the State of Georgia Corporate Team for the Kaiser Permanente 5K

Get ready ​to join the “World’s Largest Office Party” at the Kaiser Permanente 5K. This year’s 5K event will be held on Wednesday, October 24, 2018.

All are welcome to participate – from walkers to joggers to runners to elite runners. Recruit your co-workers, as well as your family, friends and neighbors.

  • The deadline for early registration is September 21, 2018. Price will then Increase.
  • There is NO onsite registration the day of the event.Venue:The race venue will take place indoors at – Georgia World Congress Center – Building C 285 Andrew Young International Blvd NW Atlanta, GA 30313

    Restrooms: will also be located indoors.

    Transportation:

  • Walk: We will be walking from the 2 Peachtree to the World Congress Center on the day of the race.
  • Marta:Take Blue/Green line going west (Ga State to Vine City)- 2 Stops
  • Parking:No parking availableTraining Programs: Boot camps and walk-to-run training programs are available prior to event date. All training programs are available for sign up during the registration process
  • August 29 – October 17 Wednesday walks/runs (with pace groups) Phidippides-Sandy Springs, 6:15 p.m. – All levels welcome!
  • August 30 – October 18 Thursday walks/runs (with pace groups) Phidippides-Ansley Mall, 6:30 p.m. – All levels welcome!
  • September 1 – October 20 Saturday morning training program (with pace groups) Phidippides-Ansley Mall, 8:00 a.m. – All levels welcome!

Gym Training: A 3-week pass to LA fitness will also be provided to participants

Pre-race Event: From 5:30pm-6:30pm the State of Georgia team will host a pre-race “event.” It will include raffles, give-a-ways, and food.

Group Picture: The State of Georgia’s Picture is Scheduled for 6:20 pm. The Location is TBA

Team Spirit Video: Due Sep 21, 2018- Any agency wanting to submit their own separate Kaiser Team Spirit Video will submit under “State of Georgia Team, fill in the state agency.”

T-Shirt Design Competition: 3 designs will be presented at the Kickoff event and voted on by registered staff.
