Each day, more than 4,000 DJJ employees divided among our 26 facilities and 97 community services offices throughout the state, work diligently to effect justice as well as redirect and shape the young lives in the agency’s care. Military Salary Incentive
DJJ offers a one-time Military Salary Increase Incentive to current/former military service members, on eligible job titles, who have served on active duty. To be eligible, service members must have an Honorable Discharge. The one-time incentive will be based upon the current number of active duty years served.

See below for the increase criteria, eligible job titles and acceptable documentation for proof of service:

Military Salary Increase Incentive Amounts:
• 2.5% for 1 year of active duty service
• 5% for 2 years of active duty service
• 7.5% for 3 years of active duty service
• 10% for 4+ years of active duty service
