Debra Stowe has been named Georgia’s Examiner of the Year by the American Association of Motor Vehicle Administrators, a national group promoting excellence in this field. Debra is a Department of Driver Services (DDS) District Manager based in Canton. She manages DDS’ centers in Blue Ridge, Blairsville, Calhoun, Dalton, North Cobb and Rock Spring.
Debra’s peers nominated her for promoting the DDS core values of Communication, Accountability, Respect and Ethics (“We CARE”) on a daily basis. Her peers say Debra has worked diligently and professionally for more than 25 years to ensure that each DDS team member and customer feels valued. She also frequently assists special-needs customers with patience and compassion.
“I proudly commend Debra for receiving this award. It is fitting that she should be honored for serving the citizens of the state while upholding and demonstrating the highest standard of dedication to customer service,” said DDS Commissioner Gregory C. Dozier.
“I am truly surprised and honored to have received this award for Examiner of the Year,” said Debra. “I enjoy traveling the state working with so many different DDS team members and meeting new customers.”
