This summer, employees from the Dept. of Driver Services (DDS) partnered with the Salvation Army to raise funds for storm disaster relief efforts throughout theUnited States.  DDS employees contributed by signing “We CARE” cards for a donation of one dollar per card. Customers were also invited to donate and sign cards, which were displayed in DDS facilities throughout the state.

Teams from all 64 DDS customer service centers and the administrative offices in Conyers participated in the campaign, raising more than $12,800 to date.  The Salvation Army has been providing meals and other services to survivors and first responders of the recent storms, floods and fires throughout theUnited States. Monetary donations are crucial to enable their work to continue, and DDS was proud to be a part of the campaign.
