SAO is proud to announce that we will be providing new functionality to users of TeamWorks starting on January 30th.

Employee Related Features/Enhancements

Personalize WorkCenters – Functional users of the system who use the new WorkCenters can now personalize the settings and customize their view.  Users can establish a different start page, re-arrange page links, add new queries, and make other changes.

E-mail address editing (Currently Available) – Previously, the Email type of ‘Business’ was only editable by an administrator.  Now, the Email type of ‘Business’ may be edited directly by the employee in Employee Self Service. HR Administrators will continue to be able to edit employee e-mails in Personal Data.    It is important to note that the email checked as ‘Preferred’ in ESS, regardless of type, is used for related HR systems such as Performance, Benefits and Learning.

Manager Related Features/Enhancements

Employee Snapshot Tile – Managers will now see a new tile in Manager Self Service called Employee Snapshot that will allow managers to see additional information on their direct and indirect reports.  Within this tile, managers can review job details as well as, performance and compensation data for their team in a graphical format.  This tile will also be available on mobile devices.

Leave Balance Tiles – Managers in agencies that use either Base Benefits or the Time and Labor modules will now be able to directly view the Leave Balances for their direct and indirect reports.  Also, enhancements have been that will allow managers to view these balances in a new window.  They will also be able to download those balances into an Excel File.

My Teams Tile (Currently Available) – My Teams is being re-configured to now include vacant positions along with the list of direct and indirect reports.
