2014 Annual Enrollment Oct. 21 - Nov. 8

The annual enrollment period for 2014 benefits runs October 21-November 8, 2013. State employees must visit two separate websites to add or change elections for health insurance and flexible benefits.

There are some plan enhancements for the 2014 Plan Year, so review all information carefully and select the best benefits for you and your family. It is up to you to understand all the options available and make the choices that suit your needs.

Health insurance information

Visit the State Health Benefit Plan’s 2014 Open Enrollment web page for detailed information about plan changes, rates and wellness plan requirements.

BlueCross BlueShield of Georgia (BCBSGa), Healthways Inc, and Express Scripts, Inc. were awarded contracts to administer the self-insured 2014 plan options. BCBSGa will provide medical claims administration and medical management services; Express Scripts will administer pharmacy benefits; and Healthways will administer wellness programs and related initiatives.

Flexible benefits information

The 2014 You Decide Booklet gives you an opportunity to review and understand your Flexible benefits package. It summarizes benefits available to employees and their dependents, along with certain procedures to be followed to obtain these benefits.

Please read the “What’s New” Brochure for changes and enhancements to several flexible benefit plans.

Employees may select any of the following flexible benefits:
