Fantastic Forest: Glorious Grimoires

Ol’ Time Fourth

Celebrate Independence Day at Jarrell Plantation with farm skill demonstrations like blacksmithing, spinning, and weaving. Listen to live patriotic music. Old Fashioned Fourth of July Celebration

Eye-Spy Scavenger Hunt
Saturdays 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM – Jul 6, 2019 until Jul 27, 2019 Chattahoochee Bend State Park – Newnan, GA
Bring your camera and take a look around our park for the items on our scavenger hunt list. Take a picture with each item on our list and bring your completed list and pictures to the office to claim your prize. Event is free to everyone. Outdoor Adventure Camp (July 8th-12th)

Learn the ropes of outdoors exploration. This camp for 10 -15 year-olds will teach basic navigation, backpacking, archery, wilderness survival skills, and more! Yoga at the Beach

Start your morning with some gentle movements with yoga beside the swimming beach in the Day Use Area of the park. This event is for all levels and ages. Bring a yoga mat, beach towel, or blanket. Farm Animal Fun Day

To celebrate the end of our Fantastic Forest Series, we will have a festival great for the whole family! Make sure to dress up and bring your wands (no gore)!
