Traveling Exhibit: Beyond Rosie – Women in World War II

4th of July Fireworks Hike

Panola Mountain State Park – Stockbridge, GA
Slow down this July 4th and join a ranger for a leisurely stroll to the top of Panola Mountain. As the sun sets we will enjoy a panoramic view of Stone Mountain and Atlanta’s Independence Day Celebrations from a distance. Bring water, bug spray, and a flashlight for the walk back down the mountain to a waiting campfire and s’mores. $20 plus $5 parking. 770-389-7801.

Heritage Farm Camp

This camp focuses on learning what life was like for children on a south Georgia farm in the late 1800s. Children’s Nature Hike

Beach Combing on Cumberland Island

Enjoy a boat ride to Cumberland Island where you’ll stroll the beach with a Park Ranger identifying shells and sea life along the shore.
