Sunset Boat Cruise
Friday, May 10, 2019 7 PM to 8:30 PM
Crooked River State Park – St. Marys, GA
Enjoy a leisurely boat cruise along Crooked River while watching the sunset, taking breathtaking photographs, and viewing various coastal birds and marine life. Binoculars provided. Space limited. Ages 6 and older. Preregistration required by 4:30 PM the day before cruise. $30 plus $5 parking. 912-882-5256.
S’mores N’ More – Campfire Tales
Friday, May 10, 2019 8 PM to 9 PM
Magnolia Springs State Park – Millen, GA
Come join a park ranger at the lake amphitheater for a yummy s’mores campfire and then, once it’s dark we’ll take turns telling spooky or funny campfire stories. It’s a great way to meet fellow campers and enjoy the serene Magnolia Lake. Weather dependent event. $2 plus $5 parking. 478-982-1660.
Mother’s Day Twilight Paddle
Saturday, May 11, 2019 7 PM to 8:30 PM
Hard Labor Creek State Park – Rutledge, GA
Enjoy a sunset outing with your family looking for wading birds and raptors. Open to anyone who can swim. Kids must be 8 or older and with an adult. Meet at the beach area, bring water, water-shoes, and a flashlight. Bring your own kayak/canoe or rent here, limited rentals available. Register by paying in advance. $10 if you bring your kayak; $15 if you rent ours $5 parking. 706-557-3001.
Mother’s Day Paddling Trip

Magnolia Springs State Park – Millen, GA
Celebrate Mother’s Day by going on a relaxing kayak/canoe trip around the serene Magnolia Lake. Be guided by our Park Rangers and learn about wildlife and the history of the park. $5 – $15 plus $5 parking. 478-982-1660.

Join instructors and celebrate the out of doors at Georgia’s largest State Park. Mornings with the Naturalist

Fort Yargo State Park – Winder, GA
Spend your morning at Fort Yargo State Park! Ages 13 and older are invited to join the Naturalist from 9:00 am to 10:00 am to explore the wonder of the park. Beach Combing on Cumberland Island

Enjoy a boat ride to Cumberland Island where you’ll stroll the beach with a Park Ranger identifying shells and sea life along the shore. Memorial Day’s March Through Time
