Pledge online from September 1 through November 15, 2016.
The 2016-17 State Charitable Contributions Program (SCCP) Campaign begins September 1 and runs through November 15, 2016. SCCP is the workplace giving campaign for state and university system employees, and provides an easy and convenient way to make an immediate and ongoing difference in local charities.
The Georgia Department of Administrative Services (DOAS) kicked off the 2016 State Charitable Contributions Program (SCCP) by hosting a breakfast last week for more than 200 agency heads, college presidents and campaign coordinators. Governor Nathan Deal, chairman of the 2016-17 Campaign, spoke about the importance of giving back and how beneficial the program can be for charities in need.

The SCCP annual campaign is a once-a-year opportunity for employees to connect to the issues and nonprofit organizations they care about. It’s an easy way to spread charitable donations out over an entire year, using payroll contributions. Employees can choose from more than 1,300 eligible charities supporting a wide variety of causes. The combined contributions will help Georgians in every part of the state, as well as people throughout the nation and world. Last year, employees donated more than $1.4 million.
Pledging is easy to do online. Go to www.giveattheoffice.org/_sccp between September 1 and November 15, 2016 to search eligible charities and select those you wish to support. Payroll deductions begin in January 2017.
