Gretchen Corbin named President and CEO of Georgia Lottery Corp.

Gov. Nathan Deal named Gretchen Corbin to serve as President and CEO of the Georgia Lottery Corp. following the announcement of current President and CEO Debbie D. Alford’s departure. With approval of the Georgia Lottery Corp. Board of Directors, Corbin’s appointment was effective January 1.

Prior to this appointment, Corbin was the commissioner of the Technical College System of Georgia. She was previously the commissioner of the Georgia Department of Community Affairs and deputy commissioner of the Global Commerce Division for the Georgia Department of Economic Development. Corbin sits on the Georgia Tech Manufacturing Institute External Advisory Board, the University of Georgia (UGA) Board of Visitors and the Fanning Advisory Board for the J. W. Fanning Institute for Leadership Development at UGA. She served as president and chair of Leadership Georgia. Corbin is a Rotary International Paul Harris Fellow and has been named one of the “100 Most Influential Georgians” by Georgia Trend Magazine for four consecutive years. She is a graduate of Clemson University and the University of Oklahoma Economic Development Institute. Corbin and her husband, David, have two children and reside in Rome.
