Governor Brian P. Kemp proclaimed March as Purchasing Month in Georgia. It is a time set-aside to recognize those in the procurement and materials management professions who play a significant role in driving efficiency and effectiveness in state government agencies, colleges and universities by balancing and negotiating time, sourcing and the pricing of goods and services.
The Department of Administrative Services Commissioner Rebecca N. Sullivan presented the signed proclamation to the DOAS State Purchasing Division leadership and management team to share with procurement professionals in appreciation for the great work that they do for the State of Georgia.
