The Georgia ABLE Program Corporation (GAPC) has launched the new Georgia STABLE/Path2College Matching Scholarship initiative. Georgia’s 529 ABLE Plan (Georgia STABLE) and Georgia’s Path2College 529 Savings Plan (P2C) are partnering to offer matching scholarships up to $2,500 for eligible students with disabilities who open or contribute to their Georgia STABLE accounts.
Matching scholarships will be awarded on a first-come, first-served basis for new or existing Georgia STABLE account owners. To be eligible to receive a matching scholarship, applicants must open or have a Georgia STABLE account for ABLE-eligible beneficiaries ages 18 and under. Recipients of these matching scholarships may receive a dollar-for-dollar match of up to $2,500 in net contributions made to their Georgia STABLE account between January 1 and December 31, 2024.
